St Francis Dogs Home Newquay, Cornwall is a charitable organisation that is looking for homes for dogs, donations, volunteers and people to attend their money-raising events.

"St Francis Home for Animals has been rehoming and rescuing dogs of all shapes and sizes for over 50 years. Our dedicated staff of four, including a live-in manager, plus our willing band of volunteers, mean that every dog has the chance to shine during their time with us. Our new training hall offers indoor play and learning opportunities, and our rolling fields mean every dog can stretch his or her legs."

What can you do to help? You might be able to offer:

1) A loving home for our rescue dogs

2) To act as an escort for dogs to their new homes, accompanying them from UK airports to their final destinations

3) Donations of dog food

4) Help with walking and playing with the dogs

5) Dog behaviourist skills, to specific dogs overcome particular issues

6) Veterinary skills, to neuter dogs for free and/or provide other veterinary assistance

7) Vaccine donations

8) Help with meeting our veterinary bills
